Qualified Science Teachers needed to start after Easter

Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Stockport
Start Date: Easter or sooner
Job Type: Long-Term, Full-Time


Hays are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join the team of a secondary SEN School in Stockport from Easter 2025 to summer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will inspire and educate students in the field of science, preparing them for future academic and career success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality science lessons to students.
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress.
  • Providing support and guidance to students.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
  • A good understanding of SEN and patience to overcome any difficulties.
