A high-performing secondary school in Harrow, NW London, is seeking a Science Teacher + 2iC to join their thriving Science Department.

The current 2iC is due for promotion into pastoral leadership; therefore, a strong, confident Science Teacher + 2iC is required to take their position, deputizing the department. You will be working amongst a team of 11 Science Teachers, including 3 ECTs, 2 Trainee Teachers, and a mix of experienced staff and subject specialists.

This Science Teacher + 2iC position is suited to either a Physics, Chemistry, or Biology specialist. Most importantly, the school is looking to find a strong Science Teacher with excellent people skills, a passion for Science, and evidence of promoting high achievement with their students.

Science Teacher + 2iC - Candidate Criteria:

1. Science Teacher with UK QTS or in the process of obtaining
2. At least two years teaching experience required
3. Ideally both ECT years completed, or a Teach First teacher with ECT1 done.
4. Passionate about all students having the opportunity to excel
