Science Teacher

A secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Biology Teacher to join their science department this September. As a Biology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of biological concepts and are well-prepared for their GCSE exams. The school encourages an interactive approach to learning, where practical experiments and real-world applications are key components of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering engaging Biology lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
2. Preparing students for GCSE exams and providing support through assessments and revision sessions
3. Using practical experiments to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts
4. Providing constructive feedback and tracking student progress
5. Collaborating with the science department to share best practices and resources
