Position Overview
A Science Teacher is needed in an All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Science Teacher position will be full-time and, if appointed, you will be needed from September 2024 to July 2025 in the first instance. Teaching for this Science Teacher role will be for KS3 and KS4 classes.

The team will endeavour to give the appointed Science Teacher as many lessons as possible for their specialist subject.

Compensation
The rates of pay for this Science Teacher post will range from £180 to £270 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School
This is a 'Good' all-boys school that has a rich and extensive tradition when it comes to Sport and STEM. Many professional sportsmen have studied at the school. There is a Gifted and Talented programme at the school which provides support to the top 5 - 10% of pupils in each year group. Each department organises trips and runs extracurricular activities to establish an environment of inclusion. In addition to this, the school has received several awards such as Healthy Schools, Education Business Partnership, FA Charter Standard, and Sport England.

Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher. Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher. All applicants must have the following criteria in order to be considered for this position as a Science Teacher:

1. UK QTS or equivalent
2. Right to work in the UK
3. Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
4. Experience as a Science Teacher in UK schools
