ARE YOU A QUALIFIED SCIENCE TEACHER SEEKING A NEW POSITION?

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted rated "Good" mainstream secondary school located in B49, to appoint a dynamic science teacher who is able to commit to a new full-time role.

The school pride themselves on integrity and excellence.

Important Details:

  1. Hours: Full Time, term time only (Mon-Fri)
  2. Pay Rate: To scale
  3. Location: Alcester, B49
  4. Start Date: After Easter

Our ideal applicant will:

  1. have a UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  2. have experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
  3. be able to deliver Chemistry, Physics and Biology lessons
  4. be confident with planning and marking a range of science lessons for different year groups and abilities
  5. be able to differentiate lessons to suit individual needs within the class and adapt lessons on the spot
  6. have previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  7. have an excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum guidelines for Science

You will be responsible for:

  1. planning and delivering engaging science lessons to a range of year groups and abilities
  2. regularly assessing pupil progress and providing them with timely and informative feedback
  3. collaborating with colleagues within the science department
  4. safeguarding all pupils and staff at all times, ensuring health, safety and welfare of everyone within the school is a priority
