Science Teacher

Pay: £155 - £235 per day (paid to MPS scale for long term roles)

Job Type: Full-time, working via Monarch with the view of going permanent

Monarch Education are representing a school who require a Science Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school will consider ECT applications. The school ideally require an individual that has experience teaching general Science to KS3 and KS4.

This Secondary school based in Central Cheltenham currently has nearly 1000 students. The school has a strong ethos for equality, a desire to include and provide an excellent standard of education. They work hard to create a warm, friendly, and supportive working environment for both staff and pupils. The school runs bespoke inductions and offers well-structured opportunities for professional growth and development. The school is easily accessible by car from the M5 with free onsite parking. If successful, you will be responsible for planning, preparation, and additional duties.

Qualifications/Experience

  • ECT are welcome to apply
  • British trained teachers and Overseas trained teachers who have eligibility to work in the UK will be considered
  • QTS and QTLS preferable
  • Prior experience teaching general science to KS3 and KS4 required
