South West/ permanent / £31,650 - 49,084 per year

TeacherActive is working with an inclusive secondary school in the Exeter area. They provide a great experience for their students to learn and grow, offering an extensive range of curricular and vocational courses to ensure that every child has the opportunity to excel.

The Senior Leadership Team is looking for an engaging Science Teacher to join them on a long term, full time basis. The successful Science Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. You will be delivering an engaging curriculum, providing an enriching learning environment, and helping to provide all students with the knowledge they need to flourish.

The successful Science Teacher will need to have:

  • QTS with Science specialism and the ability to teach across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Early Career Teachers / ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
  • At least 6 months experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • A passion and drive to coach the pupils you work with
  • Clear rules and routines for behaviour in classrooms
