Qualifications

  • Must have QTS, PGCE, or relevant Science degree.
  • Experience with the British curriculum is desirable.

Do you have experience in teaching Science, which can be utilised to contribute to a student's learning?

If so, Smile Education is able to provide you with this perfect opportunity! We are currently seeking for passionate and experienced Science Secondary Teachers like yourself to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students!

Position: Science Secondary Teacher
Location: M40, Manchester
Competitive pay: £160-210 per day
Age Group: KS3/KS4

Who would be a great fit for the role?

  • Must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or a relevant degree in Science.
  • Experience in teaching the British curriculum is desirable.
  • Knowledge on Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • 2 education based references.
  • A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
  • A determined, hard-working attitude!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure high attainment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a talented staff team.
