Hours: 8:30 AM-3:30 PM Monday-Friday

KPI is thrilled to be working with a school located in Bexley hiring a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Candidate Specification

• Recent Graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field
• Strong academic background throughout GCSEs and A-Levels in science-related subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or similar)
• Have a strong passion for education and making a difference in students' lives
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Proactive and eager to learn from experienced educators

Job Specification

• Supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
• Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver interventions to students who may have fallen behind
• Assist the teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
• Provide classroom support to ensure all students can access and understand the curriculum
• Help monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
• Ability to explain complex topics and equations in an accessible and engaging way
