An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated School Operations Manager to join their team. This role emphasizes character over talent, fostering a collaborative environment where staff support each other and work towards a common vision. The successful candidate will manage various support staff, ensure high standards of compliance, and play a key role in strategic decision-making. With a commitment to developing leaders at all levels, this position offers a unique opportunity to impact the educational journey positively. If you are passionate about education and teamwork, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Newhouse Academy is looking for a School Operations Manager who is, as we describe, one of “our people”. We appoint on character over talent alone, believing we can always learn new skills. It is important that you are a team player and understand how important our values are to us.
Improvements have only been achieved by working together on a clear vision and looking after our biggest asset, our staff. We come to work to support our students and fellow colleagues. We create an environment of high expectations that means our people treat each other with respect. When you have a bad day, we have your back. We work hard together and develop leaders that in turn develop other leaders both at staffing and student level.
We enjoy our jobs but also understand that education can be a harsh environment, but by working as a team we can solve things together.
We are looking for a candidate who has an operational background in school management.
In return, we offer:
We openly encourage you to make an appointment to come in and have a look round. The Headteacher, Alex Burnham, is more than willing to meet you and talk through our journey and the vision for the future. Do you want to be part of the team that takes Newhouse Academy to the next phase in its journey? Come and have a look, what do you have to lose?
