About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Science Technician in Middlesbrough who would be open to working for two schools in Middlesbrough. This is a temporary position with an immediate start. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the science departments, ensuring that practical lessons run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science lessons.
  • Assist teachers during practical lessons and demonstrations.
  • Maintain and organise the science laboratories and prep rooms.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to students and staff.
