School Office Administrator

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a cluster of schools in the city centre providing support with a range of vacancies. The schools are looking for experienced Office Admin staff with school-based experience and proficiency in using school systems.

Job Duties:

  1. Manage school office operations and provide administrative support.
  2. Handle student enrollment, records, and attendance.
  3. Communicate with parents, students, and staff regarding school matters.
  4. Assist in coordinating school events and activities.
  5. Manage school correspondence and maintain filing systems.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a school-based office administration role.
  2. Proficiency in using school management systems.
  3. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in school office administration.

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Knowledge of school office procedures and policies.
  2. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Further education in administration or related field.
  2. Additional training in school office management.

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school office environment, working full-time hours on a temporary basis. The candidate should be comfortable working with students, parents, and school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
