This role requires a leader; you'll spearhead the planning, development, and organisation of vital functions like finance, technology, and premises, all while guiding a Finance Officer and Finance Assistant.

This role isn't just about meeting standards; it's about setting new benchmarks for professionalism, literacy, and numeracy, all while charting the strategic course for the future growth and success of the schools.

School Finance Manager Role

Salary range: £50k-£60k

Contract type: Full time, Permanent, 52 weeks

School Finance Manager Requirements:

1. Accountancy qualifications essential.
2. School/Public Sector experience essential.
3. A proven track record in managing a school finance function to the highest standard, constantly striving to seek improvements in processes.
4. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage, interrogate and interpret data, with experience of managing and operating key financial systems.
5. The ability to manage a finance team, delegating as appropriate, multitasking and working to tight deadlines.
