Scheme Manager - Young People, Slough - Shifts

A housing association has a fantastic opportunity for a Scheme Manager who is passionate about helping young people thrive. The team is dedicated to providing support and empowering young people between the ages of 18 - 24.

This organisation provides the principles of psychologically informed environments (PIE). They create safe spaces that foster growth, resilience, and positive change, whilst adhering to Ofsted regulations.

This is a 24-hour service, so you must be able to work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working.

About the role

You will be empowering vulnerable young people to lead independent and fulfilling lives with the support of a network of staff, social workers, and other professionals.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of a service or group of services. You will lead local teams of front-line staff to deliver good quality service, promoting high standards of practice conducive to meeting the needs of the people we support. Enabling them to access education, employment, training opportunities, volunteering, as well as healthcare services in order to manage their emotional and physical wellbeing.

You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Frontline Manager - NVQ Level 5 or equivalent Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma
