We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Scheduling, Planning, and Technical Services Coordinator to join our team at our base maintenance facility. Reporting directly to the Sales and Customer Support Manager, you will be responsible for creating and sending quotes to customers and ensuring a smooth transition from quote to work in progress. You will work closely with Sales and the Base Maintenance Manager to manage manpower planning and ensure all required resources are pre-loaded for scheduled work. Your role will also involve raising and amending work packs as needed, while ensuring strict adherence to technical services procedures and maintaining quality control before releasing work to the shop floor. Signature TECHNICAir, is a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul specializing in small to mid-size, turbine-powered business aircraft, with locations throughout the United States and Europe. As a division of Signature Aviation, Signature TECHNICAir EMEA operates a full service, CAA & EASA certified Part 145 Repair Station at Bournemouth airport, in conjunction with strategically positioned mobile service units based at Farnborough and Luton airports that serve a wide range of capabilities, across the UK and Europe.
Your new role:
- Work closely with Sales and Base Maintenance Manager regarding planning, scheduling and producing estimate and quotations for upcoming maintenance inputs and modifications.
- Liaise with Base Maintenance Manager and Customer Support team to provide quotations for non-scheduled inputs and short notice inputs and modifications
- Work with MSU team to provide quotations for scheduled work at line stations and assist/advise on estimates for other inputs when required.
- Assist with preparation of estimates for pre-purchase inspections.
- Update and maintain aircraft maintenance order book.
- Create and send work orders to customers when required.
- Create and issue work packs upon receipt of signed work order and work pack requests and making amendments/revisions where necessary.
- Liaise with Base Maintenance Manager and Sales regarding downtime and available input dates.
- Update manpower plan with proposed and confirmed inputs.
- Provide technical support to Engineering and Customer Support work scope and task queries.
- Responsible for the preloading of parts, tooling and services for all scheduled inputs and ensuring their timely arrival prior to the commencement of planned maintenance.
- Monitor and make changes to the manhour loading plan to reflect delays or extension prior to input.
- Updating maintenance tracking systems as required.
- Identify tasks that can be completed prior to aircraft coming into the hangar and at the end of maintenance, such as tasks requiring engine runs.
- Check work packs, rectify errors and clarify any ambiguity prior to releasing to the shop floor.
- Participate in various meetings of the Engineering, Sales and Customer Support Departments.
- Maintain the technical library and subscription amendments including updating the library database.
- Archive technical records.
- Liaise with the Part 145 and customers/operators regarding any technical services issues.
- Handle customer enquiries via email or telephone in a timely professional manner.
About you:
- Experience within an aircraft maintenance organisation particularly as a planner, scheduler or technical services administrator desirable.
- Possessing a full UK driving license, you have the unrestricted ability to travel as needed.
- Demonstrating a strong passion for providing excellent customer service is crucial for you.
- You are adept at planning and prioritizing effectively, ensuring efficient task management.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent, enabling you to convey information clearly.
- With a keen sense of diligence and high levels of integrity, you consistently demonstrate professionalism.
- Your self-motivation and ability to work independently without supervision are notable strengths. You maintain a positive "can do" attitude, effectively employing problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you communicate effectively as part of a team.
- You are adaptable and can positively respond to changing situations and priorities.
- With your exceptional attention to detail, you diligently follow instructions to ensure task completion with accuracy
- Must have the right to work in the UK
