Network Architect
Duration: 6 months, potential for further work.
Location: onsite in Portsmouth and some WFH
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
SC or DV Required

Your role

You will be responsible for the network design and communication of structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.

Mandatory skills:

1. Strong design engineering experience in utilizing technologies from global network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet.
2. Experience of delivering secure network solutions that conform to customer security accreditation processes.
3. Hold industry recognized network certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT.
4. Good communication skills and experience in working with multiple project stakeholders.
5. Experience of technical governance processes.
6. Experience and appreciation of need for input into delivery project plans.
7. Project awareness in relation to understanding risk and dependencies associated with a delivery project.
8. Good written and communication skills, and strong evidence of production and governance of design artefacts (ie HLDs, LLDs, Build docs) during a solution life cycle.
