Job Description

Methods are looking for an experienced SC Cleared, Commercial Manager for a short term contract (5-6 Weeks). Due to the nature of the project, we need live SC clearance and not lapsed.

Hybrid working - on site in London when needed.

Contract (Inside IR35)

£400.00 P/D

Role:

  • Maintain and own formal channels of communication with suppliers, identifying and resolving commercial issues. This includes keeping risk and issue logs, setting agendas, ensuring minutes are provided and raising issues where you are unable to resolve them.
  • Manage suppliers against their contractual Service Level Agreements/Key Performance Indicators, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and all contract related risks or issues are addressed.
  • Lead the commercial elements for procurements and supplier negotiation processes to ensure legally and commercially sound outcomes. Work with Crown Commercial Service to ensure procurements achieve objectives in a productive and compliant way.
  • Review and analyse supplier spend, identifying areas for saving and efficiencies.
  • Build professional and effective supplier relationships and contract management initiatives within the team, to improve the capability of non-commercial professionals and facilitate the delivery of value from contracts post-award.

This role will require you to have Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process, candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed or rejected.
