We are now looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Business Applications team!

This is an opportunity to work as a Salesforce developer in a cross-functional business applications team, supporting and developing a large Salesforce implementation. It involves third-line support, project work and continuous development for our Salesforce instances.

You will work collaboratively with our Senior Salesforce developer along with other Salesforce administrators and will engage with our third-party support and business stakeholders. Your collaboration within the team will contribute to the overall success of our Salesforce environment and business solutions.

About the Role

  • Design and build custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and various declarative tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, the Business Applications Salesforce team and third-party consultants to integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the company to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our development processes and tools, contributing to a more efficient and effective Salesforce environment.
  • Manage ongoing maintenance and enhancements internally and with third-party consultants.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Salesforce environment.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and create documentation related to Salesforce configurations and processes.

About You

  • Significant experience of Salesforce administration, development or support.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud (SaaS and PaaS) technologies.
  • Experience in Apex, VisualForce and SOQL.
  • Business Analysis skills including understanding, developing and articulating business requirements before designing development.
  • Able to prioritise a broad workload with a high level of demand.
  • Experience of providing third-line support in an IT department.
  • Knowledge of CRM processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of sales order processing (SOP) processes and technologies.
  • Knowledge of online ad serving technologies.
  • Experience of managing and maintaining the Salesforce platform.

You may also have:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.

It's not essential that you meet all of the requirements above, so if you're interested in the role and feel you have some of the relevant skills, then we would still encourage you to apply!

How to Apply

Please upload a copy of your latest CV. You don't need to provide a covering letter but we would like you to share your responses to the following two questions:

  • Tell us about your experience with Salesforce or a project that you have worked on.
  • Tell us about a challenging project or development problem and how you went about solving it.

Don't worry we're not looking for an essay response, we'd like you to share roughly a paragraph (the suggested word count is 100-200 words per paragraph) for each question as part of the application process. Please provide your responses to our questions on one document and upload it along with your CV as part of your application.

The closing date for applications is 15th November 2024.
