Must have 10+ years of strong experience in implementing large scale, multi-country, multi-language Ecommerce B2C websites primarily on SFCC.
Proven experience on defining Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architecture, Design & working with SF OMS as a backend engine. Expertise on exposing Salesforce Commerce Engine via APIs for frontend frameworks like Vue Storefront or similar frontend stacks.
Must have led a minimum of one Headless Commerce Implementation Project across all SDLC phases.
Ensuring that all new B2C commerce functionalities are built with Salesforce standard features and Red Cross target technology architecture.
Extensive experience on exposing SFCC standard and custom functionality via OCAPI, SCAPI, and B2C Commerce API.
Knowledge on Composable Commerce Stacks and a basic understanding of platforms like Commercetools.
Lead/mentor/guide a team.
Deliver compelling presentations, architectural blueprint documents, environment management plans, development policies, and participate in requirements-gathering workshops to influence the strategic direction of projects and lead business through solution design.
Execution of best practice standards: design, coding, environment, data.
Document any newly developed functionality in solution designs.
Partner end-to-end with Product Managers / Owners, Business Stakeholders, and business analysts to understand customer requirements and process flows and translate them into Salesforce technology solutions.
Manage all application architecture artifacts.
Ongoing application rationalization and simplification of user experience.
Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications with the technical team.
Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of the applications built.
Build Proofs-Of-Concept to illustrate possible technical solutions to stakeholders and technical staff.
Establish and implement development patterns for technical staff to follow.
Define and implement DevOps processes to improve development quality.
Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching for solution and integration teams.
Establish and control technical definitions, rules, principles, and standards for teams.
Assess, review, and make decisions on all solution architecture designs.
Process Skills:
Must have worked with Headless Commerce implementations preferably with lightning-fast FE frameworks like Vue Storefront or similar frontend stacks.
BS in Computer Science or related technology or technical fields, or 10+ years' equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SFCC/Demandware development.
Minimum of 3 years of SFCC SFRA development experience.
Deep understanding of SFCC architecture, processes, and best practices.
Must have experience working with OCAPI, Commerce API, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.
Extensive prior experience in integrating SFCC APIs via middleware to frontend stack.
