Sales Team Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join this highly successful and reputable waste management company with a nationwide presence. As Sales Manager, you will cover the South & West Yorkshire regions and be responsible for the new business development field-based team. Day to day as Sales Manager you will be:

1. Overseeing and managing a team of approximately 8 new business field sales executives covering the West & South Yorkshire territory.
2. Dealing with KPIs and strategies to bring the best out of the team as well as recruitment and day-to-day reactive management whilst adhering to Waste Management legislation and Health & Safety regulations.
3. Constantly monitoring and overseeing entry into new market sectors and developing new business opportunities.
4. Working closely with the Group Head of Sales and Marketing to provide data and feedback on the performance of the region, market analysis, and team performance KPIs.

We Are Inviting Applications From Individuals Who:

1. Have proven team sales management (preferably field sales teams) and leadership experience.
2. Have a hands-on approach and are used to working in a very dynamic and busy industry.
3. Have experience in waste management (desirable although not essential).

In return, you can expect an attractive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. plus monthly and quarterly performance-based commission and a company car.
