The Opportunity

Our client is looking for ambitious people to join their journey in growing from start-up to scale-up with the aim of listing in 2029.

Who are they?

The first cyber-only insurance broker in the UK, on a mission to rip up the standard broker playbook and deliver tangible value to a market unprepared for a very present and ever-growing risk. Cyber will become the most in-demand line of corporate insurance, and the current brokerage model cannot deliver the service required to tackle this comprehensively.

Backed by the CEO of a FTSE 250 business, and with a founding team constructed of seasoned industry professionals, they are well set to achieve their lofty ambitions of IPO.

The Role

  • Close New Business Opportunities: Work closely with Business Development Representatives to understand prospect needs and close deals in the mid-cap market.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure agreements that are beneficial for both the client and the company.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client companies from a wide variety of industries.
  • Address Objections: Proactively address client concerns, objections, and queries, ensuring that the value of their offerings is clearly communicated.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Business Developers and Brokers from pre-sales to renewal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a commercial sales role.
  • Experience closing new business opportunities with businesses of £50m revenue +
  • Relevant cyber/insurance experience preferred.
  • Experience negotiating with C-level execs.
  • OUTSTANDING communication level.

What’s on Offer

  • Base salary up to 90k but can be flexible dependent on a number of variables.
  • +4% on all revenue generated.
  • Transparent commission structure, with uncapped and residual commissions received on a pound-for-pound basis.
