Are you an experienced Sales Support Team Lead, who is looking to work in a fast paced, global, market leading company?

Here at Innovative Technology, we have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Team Lead to join our talented team at our global head office in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The Sales Support Team Lead role overview:

As the Sales Support Team Lead, you'll be pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences and enabling our sales teams to achieve their goals. You'll be the central point of contact, driving efficiency, fostering teamwork, and championing continuous growth within the team.

Your Responsibilities as a Sales Support Team Lead:

  • Provide expert customer service and order guidance via phone and email
  • Prepare customer quotations as requested by clients and sales leadership
  • Liaise with Production for on-time order fulfilment, manage backlogs, and provide updates
  • Attend weekly production meetings to understand issues and inform stakeholders
  • Update international Sales Support teams on stock, dispatch, and key information
  • Test new CRM systems/procedures (e.g., Pulse) for global Sales Support teams
  • Arrange Sales Support Team training on new systems and procedures
  • Align sales order creation processes across UK, Spain, Germany, and USA
  • Identify and implement team and system improvements for enhanced efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement for optimal customer service delivery
  • Manage new leads/enquiries for absent Business Development Managers
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding shipments, pricing, and other issues
  • Perform ad-hoc duties for Sales Directors, Finance Manager & Finance Director

Your Skills & Experience as a Sales Support Team Lead:

  • Lead new starter onboarding and regular team project reviews
  • Manage daily team operations, support the people agenda, facilitate flexible working and manage annual leave
  • Serve as a departmental subject matter expert, leading by example to foster a happy and productive team
  • Set and monitor targets, champion best practices, and drive continuous team development through regular one to ones, mentoring, and appraisals
  • Promote open communication, collaboration, and respect, working closely with stakeholders and supporting company values
  • Manage sickness absences and partner with People & Resourcing on recruitment, investigations, and employee relations
