A Japanese food supplier is currently looking for a Sales Support Executive to join their busy team in North London.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge and experience using SAP software with solid sales support experience within the food import/export.

This position is full remote.

Sales Support Main Responsibilities:
  1. Processing purchase orders received by telephone, fax EDI or email from UK and European customers and related administration duties using SAP
  2. Preparing export documentation and administrating orders from multiple sales channels
  3. Provide support with telephone and emailed-based queries relating to customer orders, product queries and deliveries
  4. Provide and maintain a high level of customer service to our clients
  5. Assist sales personnel to maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise not only sales but quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction

Sales Support Ideal Candidate:
  1. Native level of English, knowledge of Japanese a plus
  2. High level of IT awareness: SAP, Excel and Microsoft packages
  3. Experience of working in a sales/order processing environment, where you have been previously responsible for the accurate processing of sales orders over the phone and via email
  4. Proven experience of handling telephone-based customer queries
  5. Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and collaboratively with others in a cross-cultural environment
  6. Outgoing and confident with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  7. Highly organised, self-motivated
