Position Summary

The role of Sales Support Co-ordinator is fundamental to the success of our Customer Operations teams and supports our business growth by focusing on providing the best level of care to our Customers. This role’s purpose is to support STERIS’s vision in creating a healthier and safer world by supporting all pre-sales customer incoming and outgoing enquiries across our Endoscopy consumable products. This individual provides an outstanding level of Customer service and goes above and beyond to ensure any queries are managed in a timely manner with politeness and professionalism at every stage.

Duties

  1. Answering incoming calls or e-mails from customers, account managers or any other member of STERIS Healthcare.
  2. Raising, investigating and responding to Customer complaints.
  3. Supporting the Order entry team by providing updates on orders which customers have placed and liaising closely with them on any customer issues. This includes reviewing products on backorder and advising customers of when they will be dispatched along with any alternatives that may be available.
  4. Updating CRM with contact with our customers or Account Managers.
  5. Creating quotations and sales offers on Sales Connection for customers who require pricing and advising on availability of products.
  6. Supporting marketing campaigns by making follow-up calls and e-mails to customers.
  7. Reviewing sales data from our systems to identify target opportunities for our account managers. Identifying spend patterns and reviewing actual spend compared to target for customers on a commitment deal.
  8. Participating in continuous improvement activities to ensure the development of our service to our customers.
  9. Forming part of the STERIS POD structure and attending meetings to give updates on specific customer orders or issues as necessary.

Required Experience

  1. 2 years customer service experience.
  2. Experience working with Sales teams.
  3. Highly computer literate across Microsoft Office applications.
  4. The applicant should be effective in written and verbal communication; fluency in English is essential.
  5. Self-motivated team worker, flexible attitude, able to organise tasks and work to deadlines.
  6. Working knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
