Working as a Client Engagement Manager you will be focussing on growing client relationships within the technology sector. You will lead by example and become a true expert developing a portfolio of clients including existing, new target organisations & engaging with lapsed clients. You will build partnerships with businesses whether it is providing hiring insights to new start-ups over coffee or delivering presentations to the board of a national company.
You will regularly meet new and existing clients face to face and attend and organise relevant networking and profile building events. Using the suite of cutting-edge internal systems available at Hays, you will also regularly analyse client and sales data to capitalise on opportunities with existing key accounts and to identify potential new business prospects. This role is predominately client facing and will be supported by recruitment partners who are responsible for candidate sourcing, candidate relationships and assisting with job management.
The right person for this role will ideally already have had a successful career in recruitment, but must have at least one year of sales experience with a demonstrated business development track record. Again ideally having experience within the technology sector already.
We are looking for someone with exceptional business development ability, including sales planning, activity and outcomes. You will possess strong commercial acumen and sales ability, exhibit excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and be committed to team targets and growth.
You will be an experienced consultant (or above) with excellent relationship building skills and possess a track record of both quick wins through tactical sales and larger account wins through a strategic approach. You will be adept with presenting to clients, possess strong negotiation skills and be able to effectively consult with and manage client expectations.
