SALES REPRESENTATIVE – SOUTH UK

Do you have a true passion for the Pharmaceutical or Electronic industries and for delivering the best solutions for our customers?

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in pharma or electronic applications who likes to work in a competitive and multinational environment. Owning the full sales cycle, you will be responsible for the entire range of Particle Measuring Systems products and services in the southern part of the UK.

What you will do:

  1. Initiate, develop, and close sales opportunities within the pharmaceutical and electronic industries delivering assigned sales targets.
  2. Conduct technical sales calls and actively grow the designated territory (identification, acquisition, expansion, and renewal) to enhance Particle Measuring Systems market share.
  3. Prospect new customers and accounts within the territory.
  4. Demonstrate portable equipment including air and liquid particle counters and active air samplers and facility/environmental monitoring systems.
  5. Continually work with the Marketing and Communications team to publish online content, tradeshow presentations, and assist in generating specific marketing materials.
  6. Actively promote product lines by frequently meeting customers in person and virtually to develop new business opportunities.
  7. Actively communicate qualitative and quantitative updates utilizing company CRM tools (Sales Force) and managing your own opportunity pipeline.
  8. Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and for that of your colleagues.
  9. Lead nurturing: first phone contacts to new leads to qualify leads.
  10. Other duties as required.

Key Requirements:

  1. BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences or Electronic, or relevant experience in these areas.
  2. Understanding of cleanrooms and contamination control would be beneficial.
  3. Strong communication and solution-oriented skills.
  4. Experience with Sales Force or other CRM systems, and confidence with presentations and public speaking is advantageous.
  5. Excellent selling and negotiation skills, strong customer orientation, proactivity and attention to details.
  6. Hands-on Industry experience within a Pharma or Electronic manufacturer is an advantage.
  7. Possess the ability to work autonomously from a home-based office/visiting customers (80%).
  8. Be a visionary and bring creativity and innovation to the team, improve performance and spur change.
  9. Fluency in English a must.

You will cover the territory south of the West Midlands / Nottingham / Leicester areas, including South Wales, the South East and South West, with a particular focus on the “Golden Triangle” region of London, Oxford and Cambridge.

Our branch in the UK is located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire where we expect you to be on a regular basis.
