Sales Representative - Recon, North London

What You Can Expect

As a Sales Representative you will help achieve total budgeted sales and individual product targets for the assigned territory and represent the Company in the highest professional manner. As part of our continued success you will be responsible for building relationships with Health Care Professionals whilst adhering to Company policies at all times. Your job will be responsible for attaining proportionate regional sales targets and exceeding present Company turnover. To maintain and grow profitability by adherence to Company pricing policies.

How You'll Create Impact

1. Sell on an entirely exclusive basis, the Company's range of products as directed by management strategies across Recon & TDS.
2. Develop close relationships with all orthopaedic surgeons and allied personnel on the territory.
3. Provide, or arrange to be provided, all of the necessary training in the use of Zimmer products, but never to assist in any surgical procedure or patient intervention.
4. Follow up any leads or visits, as directed by the Sales Manager, in a timely manner.
5. Adhere to divisional sales strategies under the guidance of Sales Manager.
6. Devote adequate time to acquiring the necessary knowledge of Zimmer and competitive products required for him/her to be effective.
7. Undertake other duties such as attendance at sales meetings, exhibitions, staff training etc. when required by the Sales Manager.
8. To ensure that all samples or instrumentation assigned to the individual are cared for adequately.
9. To take part in stock checks of FOC instrumentation and consignment stocks as and when required.

What Makes You Stand Out

1. Experience successfully selling within the Medical Devices sector.
2. Understanding of technical medical language and anatomy to interact with surgeons and theatre staff.
3. Full knowledge of divisional product portfolio.
4. Being a natural problem solver with the ability to adapt to a variety of environments.
5. Educated to minimum College level or equivalent - preferably a business degree or equivalent.
6. Knowledge of designated territory, hospitals & relevant hospital personnel.

Your Background

1. Proven selling & negotiating techniques alongside sound business acumen to identify, plan, and execute on services.
2. Strong presentations skills, customer centric, relationship and communication skills.
3. Analysis capability, Problem solving.
4. Regular travel by car within the territory area.
5. National travel as may be required with overnight stays with occasional international travel, as required.
6. Clean driving license essential.
