Product: Hip & knee and shoulder portfolio - plates, nails, fixation, femoral stems, implants, bespoke solutions for complex orthopaedic reconstructions through 3D printing

Who you’ll be working for:

  • You will be joining a company who have positioned themselves at the forefront of the niche supplier market. They provide cutting edge, high value and bespoke solutions, all manufactured in-house.
  • They adhere to a formal code of ethics and are committed to conducting business in a fair and transparent manner.

What you’ll enjoy:

  • Lots of opportunities for progression within the company. Their current marketing manager started as a sales associate, 2 of the product managers started in sales and the previous marketing manager is now Business Unit Director for upper limb business.
  • This will only increase with takeover due for completion (in early 2024) as there will be a larger opportunity for internal career development/progression, but they can’t commit to the specifics until this is complete.
  • There is also a larger bonus on offer and the opportunity to sell fantastic products to niche market customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will have complete autonomy for your region but with the added support of an established and performing clinical support team.
  • You will be accountable for the sales and market share growth within your territory as well as maximising the impact of marketing plans.
  • You will be liaising with a diverse group of stakeholders within the NHS and Private hospital setting in order to communicate and deliver tangible value to the company’s proposition. As such, the role will challenge you to develop a broad skill set that is a great foundation for leadership or marketing roles.
  • You will be selling to Orthopaedic Surgeons, related clinical teams and procurement.

Here’s what you need:

  • You should have previous medical sales experience, but personality and drive are the primary factors for this recruitment.
  • The hiring manager is looking to see CVs with verifiable sales performance as Sales Representative/Territory Sales Manager/Business Development Manager and evidence of sales vs target or sales growth.
  • Ideally your CV will be able demonstrate evidence of converting new business in new accounts and have details of any recognised sales training course you have completed.

Bonus: £25k on target (capped at 150% of target)

Car policy: Choice of company car or £600 monthly car allowance
