Sales Representative - Waste Services
Field-Based | Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Eleven 11 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and driven Sales Representative to join a growing team within the waste management industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong commercial and sales experience to take ownership of a client portfolio, build new relationships, and help businesses across the region improve their recycling and sustainability performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver proactive account management to new and existing clients
  2. Generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
  3. Arrange and lead customer meetings and deliver tailored presentations
  4. Educate clients on recycling targets and host on-site awareness events
  5. Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships to drive retention
  6. Quote for new business and manage the journey from lead to contract
  7. Understand client requirements to offer bespoke waste management solutions
  8. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  9. Maintain accurate records of contacts, leads, and interactions
  10. Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service
  11. Promote health, safety, and compliance at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. Strong understanding of waste/recycling industry (or a keen willingness to learn)
  2. Commercially and financially astute with a results-driven mindset
  3. Demonstrated success in B2B sales or business development
  4. Skilled in presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
  5. Excellent communicator with a professional and approachable manner
  6. Self-motivated and well-organised with the ability to work independently
  7. Proficient with IT systems and able to manage a busy workload
  8. Committed to exceeding customer expectations and compliant with regulations

Benefits Package
  1. Circa £32,000 per annum + uncapped commission
  2. £400 per month car allowance
  3. 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising to 22 after 1 year, and 25 after 2 years)
