Job description

Sales Order Administration Manager is required for an Irlam based company.

Your new company: We have an amazing opportunity for you to join a long-standing global company based in Irlam as a Sales Administration Manager.

Your new role: Working in a busy office, as the Sales Order Administration Manager, you will be responsible to ensure the smooth operation of the internal Sales Order Function and its related processes. Having 2 direct reports, you will be hands-on with the operational side of Sales Order processes and will manage tasks and distribute work accordingly. With a stable team, you will provide mentoring and daily assistance when required. In this varied role, your day-to-day duties will differ, therefore possessing a reactive and proactive approach to work is required. You will have full involvement in all elements of the Sales Order function of the business, including exposure to Business Exports, Prices and quotations, Electronic Bids, Contracts & Tenders, ISO Audits, daily liaison internally and externally, as well as daily operations of the team with staff appraisals and management. This is a fully rounded role which would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on role, multitasking, and taking ownership. If you enjoy a fast-paced role where you have exposure and autonomy and have worked in a similar role, this role is for you.

What you'll need to succeed:

  1. Previous staff management of a small team.
  2. Sales Order Administration background ideal but not essential.
  3. Experience of Electronic Bids, Tenders & Contracts highly desirable (not essential).
