Sales & Operations Manager

West London

Distribution & Logistics

£80,000 plus performance-based bonus

Carter Murray are partnering with a leading Distribution & Logistics brand based in West London who are seeking to add an experienced Sales & Operations Manager to their growing office based team after a merger.

This role has been created to lead and manage the sales team, drive revenue growth and ensure the achievement of sales targets while also managing the development of the sales team. You will also play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operational management within the business, acting as a point of contact between other managers and the sales team. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, you'll support them across strategy, change management and business efficiency projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. General Management:
    Oversee day-to-day operational activity, ensuring efficiency between departments.
    Act as a point of contact for managers within the Company, to offer advice, support and answer general queries.
  2. Sales Team Leadership and Management:
    Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize performance and foster professional growth.
    Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, ensuring the team is equipped to meet sales objectives.
    Set clear individual and team goals, regularly evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Strategic Sales Planning:
    Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
    Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the entertainment lighting sector.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Monitor and analyse sales metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
    Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
    Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and outcomes.
