Job description

The Sales Operations Analyst within Cigna’s Producer Operations will support Individual and Family Plan (IFP) Commissions. This role involves close collaboration with the Licensing team to ensure that commission records are updated accurately and efficiently. The Analyst will be responsible for managing producer commissions within the appropriate Cigna systems, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction among both internal and external business partners. Additionally, the Analyst may lead or support project work and other non-transactional processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to process high volumes of routine transactions in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries from business partners and/or external producers in accordance with defined metrics in a clear, customer focused and professional manner.
  • Support departmental projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Understands and manages various systems across the multiple business segments.
  • Meet and exceed timing and quality standards.
  • Consistently demonstrate strong planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Participate in training on new systems, programs and processes and identify possible training needs.
  • Establish solid rapport with internal matrix partners and external producers.
  • Identify procedural problems; formulate and recommend well thought out suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Ensure a flexible approach to shifting priorities, changes in technology, responsibilities, processes and organizational structure.
  • Proactively work with team and management to identify and implement improvements to integrate processes and streamline workflows.
  • Implement follow up processes until all outstanding issues are resolved.

Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Team player with proven ability to work independently and collaboratively by developing strong working relationships within a fast paced matrix organization.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to use PC software; i.e., Outlook, WebEx, One Note, Power Point.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to support the ability to analyze large datasets, required.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 27 - 41 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
