Sales Merchandiser

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: (Watford base) Area - Wales, West Midlands & South-West England
  • Salary: £32,000 p/annum + Sale and performance bonus scheme (TBC)
  • Company Van and some overnight stays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Merchandiser to join our client’s dynamic Sales Team. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Drive sales and enhance brand visibility for power tools, accessories, and related products within designated retail locations across Wales, West Midlands, and South-West England.
  • Execute merchandising strategies to ensure optimal product placement.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct routine stock checks, and address discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Build strong relationships with store managers and retail staff to enhance product advocacy.
  • Provide expert advice and assist customers by answering questions and demonstrating product functionality.
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to deliver accurate information on sales performance, product trends, and customer preferences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience with power tools and a passion for tools and technology.
  • Strong industry knowledge with previous experience in retail, merchandising, or sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in merchandising, promotions, and sales efforts.
  • Highly organised with the ability to analyse sales data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
  • Clean driving licence and willingness to travel to different store locations within the specified region, including some overnight stays.
