Backed by a global giant in advanced engineering solutions, this company combines the agility of a specialist manufacturer with the stability and resources of a multinational corporation. Now, they are looking for a UK & Ireland Sales Manager to spearhead business growth while managing key customer relationships.

If you thrive on technical sales, love solving complex engineering challenges, and want to be part of a forward-thinking business with world-class products, this is the opportunity for you.

The Role - A Mix of New Business and Key Account Management

As the UK & Ireland Sales Manager, you will be the face of the business in the region, responsible for driving sales growth across multiple industries. This is a standalone role, giving you the autonomy to shape and execute your own sales strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing New Business: Identifying, targeting, and winning new customers in high-growth markets such as medical devices, industrial automation, semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, and transportation.
  2. Managing Key Accounts: Strengthening relationships with existing customers, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring they receive top-tier solutions.
  3. Technical Solution Selling: Working closely with engineers and decision-makers to provide bespoke motion solutions, including stepper motors, brushless DC motors, linear actuators, lead screws, anti-backlash nuts, and more.
  4. Strategic Sales Planning: Developing and executing a sales plan that aligns with company growth objectives, identifying trends, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  5. Industry Engagement: Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase the company's capabilities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  6. Collaboration: Working with engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions for customer applications, ranging from medical diagnostic equipment to robotic automation systems and semiconductor wafer handling.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. An Engineering Qualification: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. A strong technical background in motion control, automation, or precision components is essential.
  2. Sales Experience: Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or key account management.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with applications in medical equipment, industrial automation, robotics, semiconductor manufacturing, or transportation.
  4. Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to understand customer challenges and develop tailored technical solutions.
  5. Autonomy & Drive: As a standalone role, you must be self-motivated and capable of managing your own territory effectively.
  6. Strong Communication & Relationship Skills: Ability to engage with engineers, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.

Why Join?

  1. Work with Industry-Leading Products: Represent a brand known for precision, innovation, and reliability.
  2. Backed by a Global Engineering Powerhouse: Enjoy the resources and stability of a major multinational while working in a dynamic and agile environment.
  3. Autonomy & Ownership: Take full responsibility for your region, shaping your own success story.
  4. Diverse & Growing Markets: Engage with customers across cutting-edge industries like medical robotics, automation, and semiconductor manufacturing.
  5. Exciting Career Growth: Opportunities to grow within a business that values expertise, initiative, and performance.
