Sales Manager (Progression to Estimator)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid + Training + Progression + Company Bonus + Company Benefits

Location: Northampton

Are you a Sales Manager with experience in Builders Merchants looking to progress into an Estimation role within a market-leading stone manufacturing company offering hybrid working, as well as ongoing training and development? This family-owned company, established over 50 years ago, has seen excellent growth, now with a headcount of over 100 people. They are market leaders within their field, working primarily with high-end private clients within the Construction / Architectural industry to supply bespoke masonry products. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to add an Estimator to their team.

In this varied role, you will benefit from hybrid working as you manage projects from beginning to end. You will visit sites, estimate project costs, and deliver quotations to private clients, as well as liaise with Architects and Engineers throughout the process. You will have the opportunity to be involved with drawings for projects, using AutoCAD (training provided), as well as upselling.

This role would suit an Estimator from a Building / Construction background looking to join a well-established company that is leading the market and offering excellent progression opportunities into Senior roles.

The Role:

1. Hybrid role (2-3 days from home).
2. Produce project quotations.
3. Liaise with private clients, architects, and engineers.
4. Produce AutoCAD drawings (training provided).
5. Manage the project from beginning to end.

The Person:

1. Sales Manager experience in Builders Merchants.
2. Looking to progress into Estimation.
3. Commutable to Northampton.
