A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, acting as a primary contact for all group, LNR & KNR accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and partnerships, positioning the hotel as a preferred hotel in the market
  • Attend central sales meetings and commercial reviews
  • Manage and negotiate rates with new and existing clients
  • Analyse data to identify trends and follow up on any action needed
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and provide support to General Manager on strategic decision-making
  • Generate new leads
  • Manage the hotel's social media

What We Need from You:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales within the hospitality sector, with a proven record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and persuasive approach
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and strategies, with experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate and analyse sales data from other systems
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for detail to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, and attend off-site meetings or events as required
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities in line with hotel objectives
