Job description

VANRATH have partnered with one of Northern Ireland's most established family-run car dealerships. The organisation is recruiting for a Sales Manager position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Motor Industry experienced individual to join a longstanding company that offers many routes for progression. This role requires leadership skills, along with the ability to implement an agreed business plan.

Location:

Conlig (near Newtownards / Bangor)


Salary:
Negotiable basic + OTE earnings + Company Car + Fantastic benefits, company pension scheme, 30 days holidays.


Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  2. Motivate and develop staff, helping them perform to the best of their ability
  3. Develop and agree sales plans and budgets, both for new and existing cars, along with accessories and value-added products
  4. Build on and maintain the relationship between both the Sales and After Sales journeys while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  5. Adhere to Audit standards and requirements
  6. Cover and build a team to include Sales Executives, Sales Controller and Admin to maximise income opportunities and deliver excellent customer service
  7. Comply with all FCA guidelines and regulations

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Passion for the brand and the motor industry
  2. 2 years+ experience in a similar role within the motor trade
  3. Franchised car dealership experience
  4. Ability to coach the team to achieve potential as individuals and as a team
  5. Full and valid UK driving licence
  6. IT literacy (essential)
  7. High level of written and verbal communication
  8. Proven track record delivering finance and insurance income within the sector
