SALES MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL

A world leading manufacturer of hydraulic components is now looking for an experienced senior sales professional who has sold hydraulic components into industrial OEM's and distributors across the UK. You will have a strong network of customers who buy hydraulic components e.g. machine tool manufacturers, food processing, oil and gas, power, energy, gas turbine manufacturers, machine builders, metal cutting and forming and injection moulding, industrial hydraulic distributors and hydraulic system integrators etc. You will be working for a £20 Billion + group who are ambitiously growing through acquisition and new client acquisition.
My client has been established for many years and is renowned for their engineering capabilities, excellent service, and innovation. Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you will map out and segment the industrial hydraulics market and take full responsibility for growing this market. This is technical solution selling; you will need to have a mechanical engineering aptitude, but also be an articulate and dynamic salesperson. You will have a strong mechanical engineering aptitude and/or qualification either through an engineering apprenticeship and/or Engineering Degree.
This is a home-based role that requires regular customer visits throughout the sales region. We anticipate one day will be spent working from your home office with four days focusing on developing and managing customers. We are looking to speak with candidates with strong account management, distribution management, and business development skills and a mechanical engineering brain/experience giving realistic earnings of £85,000+ plus fantastic career progression within a large multi-Billion manufacturing group.
