Sales Manager - Civil Engineering

CPL Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Manager – Civil Engineering on a permanent full-time basis, based in Ballymena with a salary of up to £50,000 per year depending on experience.

The role:

A pivotal role, with a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, you will:

• Have responsibility for the management of the Civil Sales team with a focus achieving and maximising sales opportunities and meeting gross profit targets.
• Grow, build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders within the civil engineering industry.
• Identify business opportunities, expanding the customer base and strengthening our client’s position in the market.

The person:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience, leading sales teams or similar.
• Demonstrable Estimating and Sales experience in the Civil Engineering/Construction sector.
• Ability to read drawings and bar schedules.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
