Job description

We are seeking a driven, dynamic, and results-oriented Sales Manager to join the team at a premium Fitness and Wellness Facility, which also includes one of London's largest Crossfit boxes. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving membership growth, and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the gym achieves its business targets while upholding the premium brand values. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for fitness and sales to thrive in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)

Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).


The Role...
  1. Membership Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase membership sign-ups and meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with local businesses and corporate clients.
    • Manage and optimise the sales pipeline, tracking performance through key metrics such as lead conversion, retention rates, and customer feedback.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing members, delivering a personalised, consultative sales approach that aligns with the gym’s high-end service.
    • Engage with members to understand their fitness goals, recommend suitable packages, and promote the premium offerings.
    • Handle inquiries and provide thorough, engaging tours of the gym facilities to prospective members, highlighting the value and exclusivity of our services.
  3. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all communication channels.
    • Collaborate with the coaching and operational staff to deliver a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to long-term membership.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate junior sales staff or front-of-house personnel, ensuring they are aligned with sales targets and brand standards.
  4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
    • Monitor trends in the fitness and CrossFit industry to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Conduct competitor analysis and maintain an understanding of local market dynamics to position the gym as a leading Fitness and Wellbeing facility.
  5. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Regularly report on sales performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimising conversion rates and improving the customer journey.
    • Analyse sales data to identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities, and adapt strategies accordingly.

The Person...

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in a sales manager or senior sales role, ideally within the fitness industry, luxury sector, or a high-end service environment.
  • Understanding of the CrossFit community and fitness industry trends is a plus.
  • Experience in client relationship management and building strong customer networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and data analytics tools to manage the sales pipeline.
