Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: up to £40,000 (DOE)

XCL Group are currently recruiting for a sheet metal manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, who are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.

The company covers a vast number of sectors across the UK including Automotive, Food Processing, Medical, Digital Signage, Construction, and more.

As Sales Manager, you would be responsible for creating new leads and bringing in new business to help grow the company profile - as opposed to working off an existing list.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading the sales team
2. Bringing in and implementing new initiatives to evolve the sales process
3. Tracking sales activity, making adjustments as required
4. Creating and maintaining long-term partnerships with clients
5. Managing Sales Budgets to drive profitability

Minimum Requirements:

1. Creating and executing long-term sales strategies
2. Ability to employ data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies to ensure accurate forecasting
3. Proven experience of leadership skills, developing high-performing sales teams
4. Vast knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and optimizing their use
5. Ability to create solid marketing campaigns
6. Strong negotiating skills, with a proven record of closing and managing complex deals

Key Competencies:

1. Highly motivated and passionate towards a professional work ethic
2. Ability to inspire and manage a team, with strong leadership skills
3. Excellent organizational skills; time management is a priority
4. Strong communication skills
5. IT literate, practiced in estimating software and CRM as well as modern marketing tools
6. Experience/background knowledge in Fabrication

Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.15pm
Friday, 7.30am - 1pm

The role will be office-based; however, you may be required to attend or carry out client visits.
