We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with sign industry experience and a creative interest; to join our fantastic team at Signs Express (Liverpool & Wirral) and play a pivotal role as we look at our next phase of business growth.
This skilled role is ideal for a professional who can not only drive sales and build client relationships but also contribute to the visual aspect of our projects. Location: Signs Express (Liverpool & Wirral), 2 Hawkshead Road, Croft Business Park, Wirral, CH62 3RJ
Salary: circa £30,000 per year dependent on experience
Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Travel: A full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential for local travel

Duties Include:
The ability to engage and build client relationships, generate leads and deliver sales targets.
The ability to develop and deliver a strategic sales plan in line with business objectives to expand and grow the customer base.
An understanding of the territory dynamics, customer base and client needs in the local and surrounding areas.
The ability to interact in a professional and friendly manner with clients whilst striving to exceed their expectations.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes and project plans to prospective and existing clients.
Use graphic design skills to create visual concepts and preliminary designs that align with client requirements and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the feasibility and quality of design concepts.
Use design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) to create and modify signage designs, ensuring they are visually engaging and fit for purpose.
What we need from you:
A minimum two year’s sales experience and experience within the signage industry is desirable.
Experience in graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar) is desirable, but not essential.
Strong understanding of visual branding, design principles, and colour theory.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Working knowledge of Clarity would be an advantage (but not essential).
Flexibility to work outside of the core hours to meet project deadlines as and when required.
