Job Title: Sales Executive - Timber

Job Description

Our client is a leading Independent Timber Importer & Merchant and due to expansion, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team as a Sales Executive. If you are hungry for success, have a positive attitude, and have something unique to bring to the table, then this opportunity is for you. This position is for an experienced individual that has the professionalism and the expertise to deal with clients from site to Director Level.

Reporting to: Managing Director

As Sales Executive, you will be working within a team that continually works together in promoting the company’s range of Timber & Timber products to exciting sectors including Joinery Companies, Door Manufacturers, Merchants & High-End Shopfitting Companies.

Key Responsibilities as Sales Executive:

  1. To develop both new & existing clients
  2. Build sales, pursue leads, and follow on enquiries
  3. Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
  4. Maintain & expand your database
  5. Be responsible for communication with customers
  6. Generate new business and be involved in the company’s growth and expansion

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Proven sales experience
  2. Target Driven
  3. Timber / Construction Product knowledge
  4. Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  5. A team player with a flexible approach at all times
  6. Effective communication skills
  7. Customer focused with sound commercial skills
  8. Good IT skills & PC literate
  9. Strong listening and presentation skills
