Job description

Job Title – Sales Executive – Holiday Car Rentals

Job Location – Glasgow Airport

Salary – £8.91ph plus commission £30k OTE

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling car rentals to holiday makers, local businesses, and the general public.

If a customer has a car already booked, your role is to upgrade that rental.

For example, you will upgrade the car to a luxury model, offer better insurance than already booked, and upsell additional products like child and baby seats and satellite navigation.

Our client is the market leader in the vehicle rental sector for holiday makers and businesses, with offices across the globe and at all major airports.

We are looking for passionate, motivated, sales-driven individuals who can help grow the business and drive sales for the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer and convince clients regarding the opportunity of integrating additional products to the rental contract.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Manage documents related to vehicle bookings, directly or through brokers, to finalize contracts and vehicle attribution following established procedures.
  • Provide clients with accurate information to finalize vehicle rental contracts.
  • Record client data and relevant information on the company’s computer system.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and be available for clients.
  • Complete various operational reports as requested.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to vehicle rentals, billing of debtors, and managing breakdowns and accidents.
  • Occasionally inspect vehicles for damage and manage lost property.
