Job description

Job Title – Sales Executive: Electric Vehicle Finance

Job Location – London

Salary – £24k- £26k basic with a £50k OTE

In the role of Sales Executive, you will be focused on getting new customers for their Rent-To-Buy Electric Vehicle product.

The primary target is to drive forward the Rent-To-Buy product, which gives Uber and Ride-Hailing drivers the ability to work towards owning their own Electric Car.

Our client is a vehicle finance business focusing on the Ride-Hailing Market. They provide fully electric vehicles on flexible finance agreements to Ride-Hailing drivers working for Uber and competitors.

They are one of the market leaders and an approved supplier under the Uber Clean Air Plan (CAP) which means Uber drivers can come to them and use their CAP (usually £3K+) to get a discount on a new EV.

Large Market Opportunity: There are currently only 1,600 Uber drivers driving EVs in London out of c. 50,000 (3%), and all Ubers in London need to be electric by 2025.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Converting sales leads into new customers.
  2. Calling through past sales leads / following up – this role involves a lot of time on the phone.
  3. Meeting potential new customers for the first time who are thinking about taking a vehicle.
  4. Showing customers our range of EVs (available to view at our offices).
  5. Taking customers for test drives.
  6. Greeting customers at the start of their agreement and running them through the final stage of the onboarding process and collection of their vehicle.
  7. Responding to incoming emails, calls, and customer web chat.
  8. Achievement of your sales targets.
  9. Working at the desk in the Uber Greenlight Hub office (East London) to handle sales inquiries and converting sales leads into new customers.

The successful applicant will be:

  1. Professional, polite, and friendly: You will need to be welcoming and engaging to encourage the customers.
  2. Confident – happy to speak to new people and start conversations with potential customers and a “can do” mentality.
  3. Convincing – natural sales ability, exceptional presentation skills, and well-developed negotiation skills.
  4. Hard Working.
  5. Self-driven and ambitious: The commission payments are uncapped!
  6. Good time management as you will need to be able to oversee a busy workload.
  7. Self-motivated, target-driven team player with a competitive nature.
  8. Good communication skills via email, phone, text, etc.
  9. Strong attention to detail.
  10. Enjoy contributing to the team and growing with the company.
  11. A good communicator who genuinely enjoys helping customers.
  12. Happy to work under pressure.

Our client’s main product is Rent-To-Buy Hire Purchase agreement:

  • Low deposit from £500.
  • New EVs from £135 / week.
  • 4 – 5-year contract term with no balloon payment – customer owns at the end.
  • 4-week flexible termination.
