Our well-established & highly progressive client is recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive to increase their market exposure/UK coverage.
Projects can range from £100K to £1M+ as they work with both SMEs & Major Nationals UK wide.
This interior fit-out role would suit a Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, UK Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar from within the CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out industry, or from a similar construction/built environment solution sales business.
Duties:
- Winning new CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out business across varying sectors.
- Maintaining & developing all existing business partnerships & growing them.
- Using various market intelligence to actively target potential new customers.
- Working closely with sales colleagues, design, project teams & marketing teams, delivering commercial support & commercial management (costings, estimates, tenders, etc.).
- Working in unison with the project management & site management teams.
- Providing project management support on larger & more complex projects, including the procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant & labour, as required to successfully deliver the project OTIF & to the quality standards expected by the end customer.
- Providing technical & product advice & support to the operational teams, using your CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out/construction industry knowledge & expertise.
- Delivering increased annual turnover figures & continuously improving margin levels (YOY).
- Supporting the marketing function by assisting with future marketing strategy, ensuring the marketing strategy aligns with the sales/business development strategy.
- Being responsible for P&L performance for interior fit-out projects under your control.
- Ensuring business risk management is always monitored.
- Fully understanding the client's brief, carrying out on-site surveys, and understanding the scope of works & specific design requirements to deliver the client's desired interior.
Required Skills:
- CAT A & CAT B interior fit-out sales professional or Construction sales professional.
- Strong sales & business development skills, winning high-end/high-value contracts.
- Sales Executive/Sales Management/Business Development Management experience.
- Excellent professional communication & people skills, able to build strong rapports.
- Strong solutions sales, costings, surveying, planning & product delivery skills.
- Strong commercial management skills, focused on correct price, correct margin & profit levels & ensuring risk mitigation at all times, delivering OTIF to set KPI's/measures.
