Salary: £25,000 per annum + uncapped commission

Hours: 44 hours per week on a rotational shift basis (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm and Sun 10am-4pm with one day off during the week and working every other Sunday.)

Thanks to our hard work and continuous success, Lookers Newcastle Audi is expanding its sales team and is currently recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our enthusiastic and friendly team on site. You will work alongside our established passionate sales team to ensure our customers always get the best service.

Joining our hard-working sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills which will allow you to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Peter, our Sales Manager and his team will play a key part in your success, through ongoing training and support, regular 1-to-1s, and in-house sales training. All of this will help to strengthen your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers' wants and needs.

Responsibilities
  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person ensuring you create a welcoming environment at all times.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and listening intently to their wants and needs, in order to suggest suitable vehicles that match their requirements.
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives.
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale.
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale.
  • Liaising with all the relevant departments throughout the whole sales process to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to crack on with the job, and be passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the lookout for new/fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
