Sales Executive

Sales Executive - Tilbury - Up to £32,500 plus commission

Our client, a freight forwarder based in Essex, is looking for a Sales Executive to join their growing team.

Location: Tilbury, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: Up to £32,500 plus commission

As a Sales Executive, you will:

1. Identify and source new business opportunities, leveraging your own leads and those provided by the Sales and Operations teams.
2. Develop new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight for both imports and exports.
3. Operate flexibly, with responsibilities both in-office and in the field.
4. Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring the inclusion of all relevant terms and clauses.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in freight sales (sea, air, and road) within a freight forwarding environment.
2. UK based with RTW (No sponsorship is on offer).
3. A proven track record in sales and business development.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of the global freight industry.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. A collaborative and dynamic team spirit.
10. Outstanding English and mathematics skills.
