Sales Executive - £35K - £40K - Car Allowance - Uncapped commission ! Birmingham


This Sales Executive role would suit a talented freight sales professional with a solid grounding in Freight operations or Freight internal sales looking for a step into external sales.


You manage your own diary, day and week!


The Package:
  1. Circa £30K - £40K
  2. Uncapped bonus
  3. Company Car or allowance
  4. Mobile phone
  5. Medical Insurance
  6. Pension scheme - contributory after 1 year service.
  7. 28 days holiday including bank holidays (increases annually)

The Role:
  1. To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients.
  2. To undertake presentations for long-term business, produce and present tenders and quotations for business.
  3. To offer a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful and positive manner.
  4. To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  5. To build and maintain effective business relationships with overseas correspondents, exchanging information, undertaking joint business and supporting sales visits to and from them in order to develop sales.
  6. Provide accurate information to internal operations staff in order that all relevant administration can be completed efficiently.
  7. Work with Line Managers to promote specific markets and generate business, through a coordinated programme of targeted joint calls.
  8. Responsible for current developments in the market and information on competitors.
  9. Responsible for using the sales system to record all required information and for ensuring that all documentation, records and systems are accurate.

Requirements:
  1. Freight Forwarding sales experience - internal or external
  2. Business 2 Business experience
  3. Air Freight ESSENTIAL
  4. Sea / Road Freight CONSIDERED
  5. Strong Operational background in Freight and the desire for sales also considered.
