Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join our busy Sales department at our Destination Motorcycles dealership in Christchurch, Dorset.

Destination Motorcycles Dorset is a leading dealership specializing in high-performance motorcycles from top brands including KTM, Gas Gas, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, and CF Moto. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences and quality products that cater to motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles and a deep understanding of the brands we represent, but that is not essential. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our range of motorcycles and related products.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales and achieve monthly and annual targets by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable motorcycle models and accessories.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of KTM, Gas Gas, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, and CF Moto motorcycles, including their features, benefits, and market positioning.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Marketing & Promotion: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the dealership.
  5. Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, including product demonstrations, financing options, and the completion of paperwork.
  6. Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels, ensuring that the dealership is well-stocked with the latest models and accessories.
  7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  8. Customer Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback to help improve the sales process and enhance the overall customer experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. 1-2 years’ experience (preferred but not essential)
  2. Motorcycle licence (preferred but not essential)
  3. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Excellent problem-solving, organisational and time management skills
  5. Ability to meet tight deadlines
  6. Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levels
  8. A flexible approach
  9. Excellent IT skills and technological skills

Package:

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays 08:30-17:00 (1st April – 30th September)

Monday - Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays 08:30-16:30 (1st October – 31st March)

Day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working.
